Thinline Redemption Retreat
The Western Kansas Coalition for First Responders understands that first responders are unique in their needs and that services are limited. It is through this understanding that the Thinline Redemption Retreat was developed.
This all-inclusive retreat offers attendees an opportunity to focus on their own well-being in an environment that is confidential and free from the stresses of everyday life. Staff provide attendees with peer support provided by other first responders and equip them with tools to begin the task of healing and restoration.
Each attendee has the opportunity to receive individual and group therapy sessions, attend peer-led trainings, and learn adaptive coping strategies each day of the retreat.
The Thin Line Redemption Retreat is available to all first responders including:
Law Enforcement Officers
Firefighters
EMS Providers
Dispatchers
Corrections Officers
This retreat is held at Camp Lakeside at Lake Scott State Park. This setting allows attendees the opportunity to receive assistance from our trained therapists as well as peers and fellow attendees.
Each therapist, staff member and peer volunteer their services during the retreat, allowing us to offer the retreat to first responders free of charge. The only cost an attendee can expect to incur for the retreat is the costs associated with traveling to and from the retreat itself.
First Responders don’t need to suffer alone. Let us help you on your journey to restoration and healing.
