My name is Pamela M. Gonzalez, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My title is a bit deceiving because it doesn’t encompass my work with all the clients I’ve had the privilege to serve. My work as a therapist began with children, individuals, and families who experienced any abuse, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse and neglect. I’ve worked side by side with law enforcement and other officials during my time as a therapist at the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center. I’ve seen and heard firsthand some of the experiences of those serving on the front lines. My work has continued in my private practice with various clients from all walks of life, cultures, and experiences. Trauma, attachment, and grief have been the bulk of my work as a therapist. I am bilingual, and I offer sessions both in Spanish and English in my private practice. I’ve learned so much from every one of my clients and I look forward to being able to provide support to those that serve on the front lines everyday.

I am a husband, father, and a veteran. During my time in the military, I led countless workshops for families, married couples, and singles in the Army. The workshops ranged from how to adjust to life in the military to situations that every person, couple, and family faces. I thoroughly enjoyed those times, and that is what led me to my current path. I completed my college education while in the Army and gained my master's degree in counseling and psychology from Troy University.
Upon retirement, my family and I returned to Kansas where I became a Licensed Professional Counselor. I also began working in the correctional system, counseling the individuals that were housed there since 2018. My primary passion is to work with those that are Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, First Responders, and Correctional Officers.
Jerrad Webb
Executive Director, Western Kansas Coalition for First Responders
Director of Emergency Services
Kearny County, KS
Peer Support trained.
Jerrad has been involved in the fire service and EMS for nearly 25 years and is passionate about helping his fellow first responders. Throughout his career, he has witnessed too many first responders try to deal with issues in unhealthy and destructive ways, and he has been no exception. After having the misfortune of working his own grandfathers’ suicide, he attempted to simply ‘suck it up and move on.’ Although he thought he was doing a good job, everyone close to him was paying a price. His wife and children finally convinced him that he wasn’t ok. After finally accepting that fact and talking to people, he realized that sometimes it’s okay not to be okay. Since that time, he has strived to help first responders work through traumas that they have experienced. He has assisted with debriefings for first responders following traumatic events and attended Peer Support training to become better equipped to help others. He also returned to school, received his Bachelor of Science in Ministry and Leadership from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and serves as the Assistant Pastor at his local church.
